In Montgomery, two separate shootings occurred within two hours.

Police say that two people were shot in Montgomery over the course of about two hours on Monday night and early Tuesday morning.

At about 11 p.m. on Monday, a woman in the 5100 block of Slash Pine Drive was shot but did not have a life-threatening injury, Montgomery police said.

Police and fire medics came to the scene, and she was taken to the hospital by first responders.

At 1:15 a.m. on Tuesday, a guy was shot in the 3300 block of McElvy Street, but it was not a serious injury. According to the police report, when the cops got to the hospital, they asked the person who had been shot where the shooting happened.

Officers didn’t say anything else right away about the two shootings.
