Over the weekend, a man was murdered and three others were injured in a crash in Hale County

HALE COUNTY, Ala. –  Saturday afternoon, a Winfied man was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Hale County.

James Lynn, 66, was killed when his 2017 Toyota Camry collided with a Dodge Charger on U.S. 80 around 1:50 p.m., according to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency.

The Dodge driver and a 3-year-old passenger were hurt and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. A passenger in the Toyota was injured and was taken to DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

The accident happened around five miles east of Demopolis. As ALEA Highway Patrol Division troopers continued to investigate, no other information was released.
