MIDFIELD, Ala. — The Midfield Police Department is looking into a homicide after a man was shot and killed Monday night.
According to the Midfield Police Department, officers rushed to the 1400 block of Woodward Road in the early hours of Tuesday morning for reports of a body located.
Officers arrived to find the body of a man, later identified as 21-year-old Aaron Maxwell, lying in a field.
According to a Jefferson County coroner’s report, Maxwell suffered gunshot wounds during a claimed attack.
At this moment, Midfield police think there is no danger to the public.
