In east Birmingham, a man was shot and murdered in his vehicle

Police in Birmingham, Alabama, were called to a homicide scene on Friday night. According to Truman Fitzgerald, a public information officer, officers responded to reports of a person being shot in the 7400 block of 4th Avenue South just after 9:50 pm.

Upon arrival, they discovered an adult male inside a vehicle who had been shot. Unfortunately, Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service were unable to save him. As of now, the police have not taken anyone into custody and have limited information about the incident.
