Crimestoppers has increased the prize for information leading to the death of Kendall Thorton, Jr.

CrimeStoppers of Metro Alabama has recently increased the reward to $12,500 for any information that could help in solving the murder of Kendall Thorton, Jr. on November 6, 2022.

The victim was found in a crashed blue KIA on Pinson Valley Parkway near Cleage Drive after being shot at around 10:30 p.m.

Investigators believe that witnesses who were driving by might have seen the incident, and they urge them to come forward with any relevant information.

Angelique Miranda, the victim’s mother, continues to suffer from the pain of losing her son. She wakes up every day to the reality of her son’s untimely death and prays that someone will provide her family with answers.

“It’s not natural to bury your child. He was a good kid and a fine young man,” she said. Apart from the reward money offered by CrimeStoppers, the family has also created a GoFundMe page in the hopes of finding their son’s killer.
