Man from Lockport faces charges of manslaughter

In Buffalo, NY, the police have arrested 43-year-old Kenneth James of Lockport in connection with the death of a bicyclist earlier this week.

James was arraigned this morning before Buffalo City Court Judge Rebecca Town on a count of first-degree manslaughter.

Bicyclist killed in Buffalo

According to Buffalo Police, James shot the victim with a BB gun on Monday afternoon as the victim was riding a bicycle on Broadway near Krettner Street in Buffalo. The victim, a 38-year-old male, died at the scene.

James is scheduled to return on Wednesday for a felony hearing and has been held without bail. If convicted of the charge, James faces a maximum sentence of 25 years in prison.
