At the Nickelback concert at Darien Lake, 5 persons were arrested

CORFU, N.Y. — At Nickelback’s show at Six Flags Darien Lake on Wednesday night, five people were arrested. Three of them are accused of hitting security guards.

Two men from Adams, New York, who are 23 and 24 years old, are being charged with second-degree harassment because they reportedly hit a Live Nation Security Guard.

A 23-year-old guy from Troy, New York, is also said to have hit a security guard. He climbed a fence to get into the music venue and hit a security guard in the chin, according to the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office. He is being charged with second-degree criminal trespass and second-degree criminal abuse.

A 28-year-old man from Blasdell is being charged with trespassing because he reportedly refused to leave the venue even though he was told to do so many times.

A 22-year-old man from East Amherst was arrested for second-degree harassment after he reportedly punched someone else at the venue.

All five people were given “appearance tickets” and are due in court on September 5.
