Buffalo Police: A man was discovered dead inside a vehicle on Thursday morning

BUFFALO, N.Y. — An investigation began after a man was discovered dead Thursday morning south of Gallagher Pier.

Officers from the South District were dispatched to Tifft Street and Fuhrmann Boulevard just after 9 a.m. for a report of a person in distress. When they arrived, they discovered a dead man inside a vehicle.

According to a Buffalo Police spokesperson, an autopsy will be performed by Erie County medical examiners to identify the cause of death.
