Woman killed in Keystone Avenue head-on collision

Mocobizscene- Overnight, a woman was slain in what appeared to be a head-on collision on the northeast side of the city. Indianapolis police were dispatched to the 2600 block of North Keystone Avenue in response to a collision involving a pickup vehicle and a sedan at approximately 3:30 a.m.

Preliminary information from the police indicates that the southbound sedan being driven by the female victim collided with the northbound pickup truck, which a male driver and passenger occupied.

According to police, the woman was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver of the pickup vehicle was transported in stable condition to a local hospital. The passenger of the pickup truck was examined and released at the site.
