Vivek Taneja Passes Away Following Altercation in Washington, DC

Mocobizscene- Vivek Taneja, an Alexandria resident, lost consciousness following a physical altercation that occurred at around 2 a.m. on Friday, February 2nd. The incident took place on the 1100 block of 15th Street NW, according to the DC police.

Taneja, who was hospitalized in serious condition, unfortunately passed away on February 2. The police are currently working on identifying the suspect, who was captured on surveillance.

Jefferson Funeral Chapel is currently handling the services.

Taneja’s LinkedIn profile indicates that he is the co-founder and president of Dynamo Technologies, an IT company located in Vienna. According to his bio on the company’s website, Taneja obtained a Bachelor’s degree in economics and Interdisciplinary studies from the University of Virginia, and a Master’s degree in telecommunications from George Mason University.

Taneja completed his D.Eng. in Engineering Management and Systems Engineering at the George Washington University. According to his bio on the Dynamo website, his doctoral research involved using a system dynamics approach to assess the influence of electronic health care records on the U.S. healthcare system.
