Mocobizscene-The NYPD is trying to identify two individuals who are allegedly responsible for putting a woman in a headlock during an Upper East Side noon robbery. According to authorities, the suspects approached a 24-year-old woman who was in the area of Madison Avenue and East 75th Street on Sunday, February 4, at about 3 p.m.
Before taking her smartphone, the suspects, according to the police, put the victim in a headlock, yanked her hair, and forced her to the ground.
After the victim escaped into an adjacent building and the suspects were forced to leave on foot to an unknown location by a doorman, the suspects tried to steal more goods from the victim.
The victim declined to receive medical care.
