Mocobizscene- An Indianapolis woman was taken into custody on Friday after allegedly trying to run over her boyfriend while six children were inside the vehicle, as stated in court documents.
Donesha Stewart faced charges of Domestic Battery, Criminal Recklessness with a Deadly Weapon, Vandalism, and Theft, resulting in her arrest.
On Friday, December 22nd, at approximately 10:30 a.m., the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department received a dispatch to respond to a domestic disturbance at the 3400 block of Cossell Rd.
Approximately 20 minutes later, the officers spotted the Durango and proceeded to engage with Stewart. They decided to place her in handcuffs for further inquiry.
The officer tried to talk to the oldest minor, but they declined to speak. However, the officer did observe a fresh tire mark. Stewart’s mother took the children. We are currently conducting an active investigation, and we will provide updates as soon as new information becomes available.
