Hartsfield-Jackson unveils cutting-edge emergency services precinct

Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport has recently opened two state-of-the-art facilities that are now fully operational.

Atlanta airport officials and Atlanta Police Department leaders collaborated on Monday morning to unveil the Emergency Services Precinct and Maintenance Facility.

During the event, Chief Darin Schierbaum of the Atlanta Police Department emphasized the importance of the newly established facilities in ensuring the safety and security of the world’s busiest airport.

According to Schierbaum, ensuring that our officers have suitable precincts to work from is a crucial aspect of our recruitment efforts. He emphasized the importance of maintaining a high level of professionalism, which requires continuous training. This focus on training will contribute to our overall training goals.

The police chief expressed excitement about the new precinct, emphasizing its potential to enhance officers’ ability to swiftly and efficiently respond to emergencies at the airport.
