Mocobizscene- A tragic incident occurred in rural LaPorte County, Indiana, where a person lost their life after being struck by a train on Wednesday night. Just before 11:40 p.m. CST, deputies received a call to the Canadian National Railroad Crossing on State Road 39 in Noble Township.
The LaPorte County Sheriff’s Office reported that a person was spotted on the tracks by the crew of a Canadian National freight train. The incident took place while the train was traveling east between Long Lane and State Road 39.
Despite their best efforts, the crew members were unable to prevent the train from colliding with the pedestrian. The deputies did not reveal the pedestrian’s identity, but they have informed the family members.
