The shooting took place on Friday at approximately 11 p.m. The Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office discovered the deceased in a Daffodil Lane residence. Gunshot wounds that did not pose a threat to life were treated at the hospital by both the adult and the other juvenile.
The authorities have not disclosed any information regarding the victims’ ages or the circumstances surrounding the incident. Furthermore, it is unknown whether the gunshot transpired indoors or outdoors of the residence. Bullets damaged a number of residences, including one with exterior wall cavities, four passing through windows, and one penetrating a mailbox. A window and shutter were damaged on another residence.
In contrast to the neighborhood’s customary tranquility, the gunshot was deemed unusual by the locals. Christina Campbell, a resident, recounted the challenges she encountered when attempting to explain the brutality to her young daughter.
