Tremé house crumbles during severe weather on Monday

Mocobizscene-  A house in the Tremé area collapsed on Monday, January 8th. The New Orleans Fire Department arrived at the scene on St. Philip Street in the 1800 block at approximately 3:30 p.m.

Severe weather is expected to impact the Greater New Orleans area throughout the evening and night, coinciding with the collapse. According to neighbours, the house was undergoing renovations and was unoccupied at the time of the collapse.

There were no reported injuries, and the investigation is still ongoing.
