Police are searching for a suspect after a fatal shooting occurred in Northeast D.C. on Wednesday evening. The victim, a man, was shot and killed during the incident. Police are currently searching for a suspect in connection to the shooting that occurred on Wednesday evening in Northeast D.C. Sadly, a man lost his life in the incident.
Shortly after 5 p.m., police responded to reports of a shooting in the 2200 block of New York Avenue, where they discovered 38-year-old Carlos Javier-Blanco Fernandez with gunshot wounds. Sadly, Fernandez passed away due to his injuries at a nearby hospital.
