State Police Shootout On Thruway Followed By Albany Shooting Leads To Suspect Identification

NEW YORK (WRGB) – The New York State Police have made public the names of the Troopers and the suspect who were involved in the shooting incident on Wednesday afternoon along I-87 in the Town of Ramapo.

Troopers Steven Missale and Ronald Raymond were driving southbound on the Thruway between exits 15 and 15A when they spotted a vehicle that resembled the description of a car involved in a shooting in Albany earlier that day, as per the police.

Missale and Raymond sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were taken to Westchester Medical Center. Fortunately, they have already been discharged from the hospital.
