Mocobizscene- Gunshots were heard in the vicinity of Good Shepherd School located on AP Tureaud Avenue on Tuesday, January 30th.
The New Orleans Police Department swiftly arrived at the scene at approximately 1:30 p.m. as teachers promptly guided students back into the building to ensure their safety.
According to residents in the area, they reported hearing two rounds of gunshots. Residents in the vicinity reported hearing gunshots and immediately took cover as bullets struck a pickup truck parked just a couple of blocks away from the school.
The school spokesperson confirmed that all students were safely brought inside and reassured that there was no need for a lockdown. There were no reports of any injuries.
