Mocobizscene- A tragic incident unfolded on Sunday morning when a motorcycle crash on the West Norfolk Bridge in Virginia claimed the lives of two individuals.

The Portsmouth Police Department is currently investigating the accident that occurred around 8:00 a.m..

The Portsmouth Police Department and the State Police did not respond to USA TODAY’s request for comment. However, according to local outlet WKTR, the motorcycle collided with a barrier.

Four people lost their lives in a tragic accident on a Missouri highway when a vehicle veered into the opposite lane, colliding with five motorcycles. The incident highlights the perilous nature of our roads and the need for increased safety measures.

The accident took place on the eastbound side of VA-164, causing the eastbound lanes on the bridge to be blocked while the authorities work on clearing the scene, according to Portsmouth police. The case will be investigated by the Portsmouth Police Traffic Unit.
