One Person Killed in Late-Night Crash in Long Beach

Mocobizscene-   Late on the night of February 20th, tragedy struck in Long Beach as a male driver lost his life in a fatal collision between two vehicles at an intersection. The Long Beach Police Department confirmed the devastating incident, stating that it occurred at approximately 11:48 p.m. This heartbreaking news was shared on their official blotter.

The LBPD’s Collision Investigation detectives are currently conducting a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. At this time, the identity of the deceased has not been released to the public, as authorities are still in the process of notifying the next of kin. The second driver involved in the collision was transported to a local hospital with injuries that are not considered life-threatening. Importantly, this individual remained at the scene and cooperated with law enforcement officers.

The LBPD is urging witnesses of this tragic event to step forward and assist in the investigation.
