New Orleans police seeking for man  who pistol-whipped and pointed a gun at two hotel guests.

NEW ORLEANS: Following the Wednesday morning events in a hotel room in New Orleans East where two individuals were pistol-whipped and held at gunpoint, the New Orleans Police Department has opened an investigation.

Gregory Davis, the suspect, allegedly approached a man and a woman in their room via the door and asked them to rent a car for him. Police said that after they refused, he smashed in the door, brandished a gun at one of the victims, and pistol-whipped the other.

Davis is charged with driving off the scene in a Toyota 4Runner that may have been rented. Davis is wanted on charges of home invasion and possessing a firearm while a convicted felon. An arrest warrant has been filed for Davis.
