NYPD identifies construction worker who died in collapse of Borough Park building

Mocobizscene-  The police have identified the man who died in the partial building collapse in Borough Park.

A tragic incident occurred on the job site as 33-year-old Juan Tamay, a construction worker from Queens, lost his life when the building’s first floor collapsed into the basement.

The Department of Buildings has stated that the vacant building underwent a structural alteration without the necessary permits, causing damage to the structure. As a result, the DOB has issued a complete vacate order for the property.
