Mocobizscene-A woman was murdered in Northwest, Washington, DC, prompting the Homicide Branch of the Metropolitan Police Department to conduct an investigation. The occurrence transpired on December 19, 2023, a Tuesday. A domestic disturbance was reported at a residence in the 1200 block of 11th Street, Northwest, prompting the deployment of officers.
Officers discovered a woman inside the residence with puncture wounds when they arrived. At the site, it was determined that Reyna Garcia-Lopez, age 31, of Northwest, DC, had perished. An investigation is currently underway into the incident.
In this case, the Metropolitan Police Department is offering a $25,000 reward for information leading to a successful prosecution and acquittal. Anyone with information is being strongly encouraged to come forward.
