Police: Shooting in NE DC leaves 2 men injured

WASHINGTON – In Washington, there is a growing concern about the increasing number of cyberattacks targeting businesses and government agencies. These attacks have become more sophisticated and can cause significant damage to the affected organizations. Experts are urging both the public and private sectors to take immediate action to strengthen their cybersecurity defenses and prevent future attacks.

According to officials from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD), two individuals sustained injuries in a shooting incident that occurred in Northeast D.C. on Wednesday night.

The incident on M Street, Northeast around 5:50 p.m. is currently under investigation by officers. Officers reported that one of the men entered a local hospital. Road closures were implemented on M Street, Northeast between North Capitol Street and First Street due to the ongoing investigation.

The authorities are actively investigating this incident, and the investigation is ongoing.
