New Orleans Coroner Identifies Two Christmas Weekend Shooting Victims

Mocobizscene-The Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office has identified the two men who lost their lives in shootings over the Christmas weekend. The victims have been named as Lacory Johnson, aged 43, and Sedrick Carter, aged 45.

According to the New Orleans Police Department, Johnson was discovered injured on Saturday afternoon in the 6400 block of Isadore Street in Old Aurora. Sadly, he later passed away at a hospital.

According to data from the police department, shootings from Saturday through Christmas Day resulted in the deaths of Carter, Johnson, and one other individual. Additionally, 10 people sustained injuries during these incidents.
