Multiple Shoplifting Arrests Made by Livingston Police, Including Three at Nordstrom Rack

Mocobizscene-  The Livingston Police Department recently made several arrests for shoplifting in the area. These incidents occurred at Nordstrom Rack on W. Mt. Pleasant Avenue, Macy’s at the Livingston Mall, and CVS Pharmacy on South Livingston Avenue.

According to Livingston police, Nordstrom Rack has experienced shoplifting incidents on multiple occasions this month.

On Saturday, Feb. 17, Vlad Gora from Flanders faced an arrest when Nordstrom Rack Loss Prevention caught him hiding various items, such as women’s makeup, fragrances, and accessories. The Livingston Police Department (LPD) processed Gora and issued him a summons with a court date before releasing him.

On Monday, Feb. 19, Randolph resident Anthony Migliore was arrested for shoplifting. He was apprehended by Nordstrom Loss Prevention after concealing two pairs of shoes and a belt. Following his apprehension, Migliore was processed by the LPD and released on a summons with a court date.

Earlier this month, Oscar Alonzo Cabrera Aguero of Patterson was arrested by officers for shoplifting over $800 worth of store merchandise from Nordstrom Rack. When the police arrived, Aguero was already in the custody of the loss prevention team. He was then taken to the police headquarters, where he faced charges of shoplifting and possession of an anti-shoplifting device. Aguero was later released on a summons.

On Friday, Feb. 16, the police were called to the Livingston Mall’s Macy’s department store, which has been a frequent target for shoplifters in the area. They arrested Najimah Sheffield of Newark after she was caught by Macy’s Loss Prevention concealing various items such as watches, handbags, and clothing. After being processed at the police headquarters, she was transported to the Essex County Correctional Facility.

In addition, the police recently received a call about a shoplifting incident at the CVS Pharmacy located at 184 S. Livingston Avenue. They promptly arrived at the scene and apprehended the suspect, Michael Berardicelli from Islip, NY, who was found at the nearby bus stop.

Upon searching him, the officers discovered that he had over $400 worth of merchandise from CVS in his possession. Consequently, he was arrested and charged with shoplifting. Furthermore, Berardicelli was taken to the Essex County Jail not only for this offense but also due to an outstanding warrant.
