Mississippi gang member receives sentence for involvement in racketeering conspiracy

Mocobizscene-  A member of the Simon City Royals (SCR) gang, who is also an inmate in Mississippi, has been sentenced to 35 years in prison for his involvement in racketeering (RICO) conspiracy. This sentence includes charges of murder.

Dillon Heffker, a 33-year-old resident of New Orleans, Louisiana, has been implicated in the unlawful endeavors of the Simon City Royals. This notorious prison gang is known for its violent operations, particularly within the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC), as per court documents.

On October 5, 2023, Heffker admitted his guilt to count one of the indictment, which accused him of RICO conspiracy. During a sentencing hearing on Thursday, the judge handed down a sentence of 420 months in prison for Heffker, to be followed by five years of supervised release.
