This week, a Kirksville adolescent was reported missing; her body has since been discovered.
On Wednesday morning, the Facebook page of Brenden Davis, 16, from Kirksville, was updated with the news by his father.
Adair County Coroner Brian Noe told KTVO that a resident mowing his lawn in the 1300 block of East Dear Street discovered the remains of Davis in a drainage ditch on Tuesday afternoon. Earlier this week, the boy’s father stated in a separate Facebook post that his son had abandoned the family residence during the night.
