Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) officials report that an assault inside a group home in Northwest D.C. on Sunday resulted in the death of a man.

At approximately 8:00 a.m., officers reported to the 3100 block of 16th Street, Northwest, where they discovered a man with puncture wounds inside the DC Family Services group home.Officers reported that the man was pronounced deceased at the scene.
