Authorities are currently conducting an investigation following the discovery of two deceased individuals inside a vehicle in a parking lot located in New Jersey. On Tuesday afternoon, an incident took place in the parking lot of a WoodSpring Suites located on E. Linden Avenue.
Upon arriving at the scene at approximately 12:10 p.m. to investigate a vehicle, officers made a grim discovery – both the man and woman inside the car had tragically passed away. It is still not clear what exactly happened during the incident.
The Union County Prosecutor’s Office and police are currently investigating it as a case of murder-suicide. According to officials, the public is not currently at risk and there is no ongoing threat.
