Mocobizscene-A man allegedly jumped a fence at Miami International Airport and proceeded to walk onto the runway. Maike Celestrin, accused of violating a designated operational area of an airport, made an appearance in court on Christmas Day. During the court hearing, the judge set his bond at $5,000.
On Christmas Eve, the suspect managed to bypass the chain-linked fence on S. Perimeter Road and NW 72 Avenue and proceeded to enter the runway, as reported by the Miami-Dade Police.
The man’s daring act of climbing over the fence was caught on video. According to reports, the officers were on the verge of apprehending him without any trouble.
It is unclear why he decided to jump the fence and end up on the runway.
