Mocobizscene- A man of 40 years old passed away on Thursday night in the Montgomery jail, according to law enforcement officials.
The State Bureau of Investigation, part of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, is currently conducting an investigation into the death of Mauryce Jackson, according to Sgt. Jeremy Burkett. Jackson was pronounced dead at approximately 10:39 p.m. on Thursday.
Law enforcement authorities have not yet disclosed any additional information regarding Jackson’s demise. Montgomery police have made an arrest in connection with the shooting death that occurred on December 3rd. The suspect has been charged with the crime.
