Mocobizscene- SWAT officers successfully resolved a disturbance on the north side of Indianapolis Saturday night, employing de-escalation techniques.
The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department received a report of a disturbance with a weapon in the 4700 block of Round Lake Road. Officers were dispatched to the scene around 6:45 p.m., according to public police reporting systems.
The man’s family managed to evacuate from their house without any harm, but he decided to stay inside and barricade himself. According to IMPD, the man was eventually apprehended for pointing a firearm at his own family. According to police, no injuries were reported in the incident. The identity of the man involved has not been disclosed at this time.
