Public assistance sought in solving fatal stabbing of Long Beach resident

Mocobizscene- The victim was declared deceased by paramedics from the Long Beach Fire Department who arrived at the scene.

Authorities suspect that the 35-year-old was possibly engaged in a disagreement with one or more individuals, who managed to escape the scene prior to the arrival of law enforcement. The authorities are currently investigating the motive behind the fatal stabbing and the circumstances surrounding the incident.

The police are seeking assistance from the community to gather more information, according to a statement. They are specifically requesting anyone who witnessed any altercations in the vicinity of the 1300 block of Long Beach Boulevard on the early morning of Thursday, February 15, 2024, to contact the Homicide Detectives.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office is currently withholding the identity of the victim until his family has been notified.
