Man Arrested and Charged in Connection with Harlem Murder in July

A 43-year-old New York resident named Eric Nunez was arrested and charged on Monday, November 27, for his involvement in a fatal shooting that took place in July. The arrest was carried out by officers from the 25th Precinct at 12:45 pm.

Nunez is being charged with murder and criminal possession of a weapon.

The individual who was involved in the incident that took place in July has been identified as Antonio Felder, a 55-year-old resident of 117 East 118th Street. The shooting incident occurred on Saturday, July 22, at around 2326 hours, specifically at the intersection of East 116 Street and Lexington Avenue in the neighborhood of Harlem.

Police officers arrived at the scene after receiving a report of a shooting. Upon their arrival, they discovered Felder with gunshot wounds on his torso and leg. He was immediately taken to New York City Health and Hospitals/ Harlem by Emergency Medical Services. Sadly, he was pronounced dead at the hospital.
