Mocobizscene- Kenner Police recently made a significant seizure of an AR-15 rifle and a substantial quantity of drugs during a routine traffic stop.
The police stopped the Nissan Altima on Newport Place last Thursday. According to the police, the officers spotted an AR-15 rifle and a 30-round magazine in plain sight on the back seat of the car.
After conducting a thorough investigation, Kenner Police discovered an additional 300 prescription narcotic pills, 58 grams of marijuana, and a number of jars containing THC wax.
Daron Narcisse, 24, and Datrell Gregory, 21, have been charged by the police with narcotics and weapons offenses.
The police are conducting an ATF gun trace on the AR-15.
