Mocobizscene- Over the course of a weekend, there were many gunshots in Washington, D.C., which left at least 12 people wounded and one person dead, 18-year-old Dekhota Evans.
The gunfire happened all around the district, with reports of events in the Southeast, Northeast, and Northwest regions. Among the victims were two men who were shot and discovered at a fire station, a man who was wounded in the leg during an attempted burglary, and two teens who were shot in separate incidents on Sunday.
Police are actively investigating the occurrences, including the search for two men in a black SUV who may be connected to one of the shootings, even though suspects in several of the cases have not been named. After receiving treatment for gunshot wounds, one individual was taken into custody for having unregistered ammunition on them.
