Hooded Gunman Shoots Man Outside Chelsea Highrise

On Sunday night, a man was shot and injured outside of a high-rise building in Chelsea, and police are currently searching for the perpetrator. The police were notified of this incident on Monday. A person was wounded in the leg in the vicinity of 167 West 25th Street at approximately 9 p.m.

It is unclear precisely what led to the shooting. According to police reports, a suspect donning a green hooded sweatshirt fired shots before fleeing the scene.

The injured individual was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue for treatment and is expected to make a complete recovery.

As they continue their search for the suspect, the authorities have not yet made any arrests.
