In Hawthorne, close to a strip mall on Crenshaw Boulevard and Rosecrans Avenue, there was a shooting that left one woman dead and four other people injured.
Around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, there was an incident that involved police responding to a “shots fired call for service.” While the other victims made their way to hospitals by alternative routes, one man who had been shot at the site was discovered there and transported to the hospital in stable condition.
One of the wounded victims is in critical condition, and the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department is looking into the shooting. As detectives continue their investigation, no suspects have been apprehended and no suspect description has been given.
