Mocobizscene- The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is currently investigating a severe crash that occurred on the south side of the Circle City.
Police were called to the intersection of Madison Avenue and East Stop 11 Road around 9 p.m. in response to an accident. According to the officers at the scene, the driver attempted to enter one of Madison Avenue’s southbound lanes after exiting Greentree Street.
IMPD Officers at the scene did not think that icy road conditions caused the crash. Instead, they suspect that drugs and alcohol played a role in the accident.
