Early on Friday, authorities in Hermosa Beach discovered the corpse of a man with a gunshot wound floating in the ocean. An investigation is underway into the cause of death.
At approximately 7:00 a.m., Hermosa Beach police officers discovered the body of a Caucasian male aged 40 to 45 near the shoreline, according to officials. His demise was officially confirmed at the location. The individual had reportedly been shot, as reported by the police and cited by the media. Whether or not nefarious play had been involved remained unclear.
