Mocobizscene- On Sunday morning, in Irvine, tragedy struck when the driver of a Tesla lost control of their vehicle and crashed into a guardrail, resulting in their untimely death.
A fatal crash occurred on the northbound I-405 Freeway, specifically north of Sand Canyon, around 12:44 AM.
Upon arrival, emergency crews discovered a severely damaged white 2021 Tesla SUV. The vehicle had collided with a guardrail before coming to a stop on top of an electrical vault. The driver of the Tesla was declared dead at the scene by medics.
Southern California Edison arrived at the scene to assess potential damage to the electrical vault. According to preliminary reports, the collision did not involve any other vehicles. However, the exact cause of the collision is still under investigation.
Crews worked diligently to clear the scene, causing several lanes to be blocked temporarily.
