Georgia Man Charged with Robbery and Terrorism After Tip Jar Theft and Police Chase

Mocobizscene- Maxie Stewart Adams is charged with robbing a company in Atlanta of cash from a tip jar and threatening to “shoot up the place.” Police pursued Adams, and on December 19, body camera footage of the arrest was made public.

Adams refused to comply with orders to halt and raise his hands, which attempted tasing him unsuccessful because of his jacket. He was eventually taken into custody without any other incidents, and he is now accused of robbery, terrorism, and obstruction.

Adams is suspected of stealing the tip jar from the same company twice, although it’s unclear if he has pleaded guilty to the allegations.
