Four individuals killed in separate shootings in New Orleans identified by coroner

Mocobizscene- Four victims of separate shootings last week have been identified by the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office.

At 1:32 a.m. on Friday, 32-year-old Jacob A. Carter was shot and died in the Marigny. At the corner of Bourbon and Kerlerec streets, officers discovered Carter dead.

At 1:30 a.m. on Saturday near the 4200 block of Dale Street, Larry Boudreaux, Jr., 39, was discovered shot multiple times inside a smashed car, according to the police. He was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

At 6:13 p.m. on Saturday, Cayla Kelley, 27, lost her life in a shooting in Central City. She was discovered in the 2700 block of Washington Avenue with several gunshot wounds, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

At 10:22 p.m. on Saturday, Eddie Matthews, 64, was shot and died at the junction of South Liberty Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Central City. Matthews was discovered by officers with several gunshot wounds.
