FAIRFAX COUNTY, Va. – In a recent development, Fairfax County in Virginia has made significant progress in its efforts to improve public safety. The county has implemented a number of initiatives aimed at enhancing the safety and well-being of its residents.
A man from Fairfax, Virginia was apprehended by the police after they discovered more than 12 pounds of marijuana, along with other illicit drugs and multiple firearms. This information was shared in a statement by the Fairfax County Police Department (FCPD) on Monday.
On February 8, police arrested Evandelos Koukis, 26, following a search of a residence located on Summit Drive. During the search, law enforcement discovered 12 lbs. of marijuana, .5 lbs. of mushrooms, as well as Codeine, THC wax, and three firearms.

According to a statement from FCPD, the search warrant and arrest were the result of a thorough narcotics investigation.
Koukis faced charges for possessing schedule I/II and schedule V substances with the intent to distribute, as well as possessing over 5 pounds of marijuana with the intent to distribute. Additionally, he was charged with possessing a firearm in connection with schedule I/II substances.
