On Thursday, May 16, the Capital Beltway experienced even worse traffic due to a tractor trailer crash, compounding the already challenging rush hour conditions.
At the time of publication, there were reports of delays caused by a crash in Fairfax County heading southbound.
At mile marker 48.8, an incident occurred. Currently, the south right shoulder has been closed.
