Drugs and Firearms Found Following Shooting Incident at Homeowner’s Residence

INDIANAPOLIS- Police claim to have executed a warrant at a residence in connection with a gunshot that involved the proprietor and three aspiring robbers. Tuesday morning, the incident transpired at the intersection of Fall Creek Parkway North Drive and 46th Street.

A search of the victim’s residence, according to Indy Metro Police, uncovered numerous firearms, a substantial quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and additional substances.

Three armed individuals confronted the homeowner and his neighbor, at which point the shooting ensued. A doorbell camera captured the entire altercation and revealed the suspects exchanging gunfire before departing in a hurry in an SUV.

According to the IMPD, the homeowner was shot in the cranium during the incident. Following treatment at a nearby fire station, he was transported to the hospital.

The case has not resulted in any arrests by the police. It is unknown whether the homeowner’s possession of the firearms and narcotics will result in legal action.
