According to the New Orleans Police Department, a shooting occurred in West Lake Forest on Sunday evening, leaving a man and a 17-year-old boy injured.
The man and boy were sitting in a vehicle at the intersection of Crowder and Lake Forest boulevards when individuals in a white sedan pulled up and unleashed a barrage of bullets at them, according to the police. The victims immediately sought medical assistance and notified the authorities of the incident, which occurred at 7:37 p.m.
The police have not yet released any additional information.
