Deputy arrests 14-year-old for stealing two cars, vapes, and personal items from Norco residents

Mocobizscene-   In connection with many auto thefts and break-ins, a 14-year-old boy was taken into custody in Norco, Louisiana, on Thursday, according to the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office.

The teenager is from the New Orleans region, according to the Sheriff’s Office. There have been reports of two vehicles from a driveway, two vapes, and personal things from vehicles stolen by residents in the 500 and 600 blocks of Giacomo, Fourth, Spruce, and Pine Streets.

According to deputies, a black, four-door sedan was seen stopping in front of the residences on surveillance footage. Additionally, that car was taken from a neighboring parish and discovered abandoned in Norco. The two automobiles that were pilfered from the 500 block of Giacomo Street were discovered in New Orleans.

Deputies stated that further arrests are anticipated and that the investigation is still ongoing.
